Job Description:

Major Responsibilities


  • Perform the Electrical Test to all cables according with the customer’s requirements / internal procedures-working instructions, including the preliminary test (first test) as well final test.
  • When required, develop the electrical signature, getting support from the Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor and/or QC Final Inspector Technician if required.
  • Assure the correct selection and use of electrical test fixtures.
  • Communicate any missing, damaged or additional requirements for test fixtures to supervisor.
  • Generate and keep, according with current procedures, the electrical test report per work order and product’s serial number.
  • Document in accordance with current procedures the non-conforming product by identifying, marking, and segregating properly the material and communicating in timely manner the defect(s) to the production and QC supervisors.
  • Ensure that the Electric Test equipment and PC are used properly and maintained in good condition, and within calibration dates.
  • Make sure clock in and out of the system (M3) per Work Order and daily, as instructed.
  • Ensure the proper handling and transportation of the material so it won’t get damaged or lost.
  • Transfer physically and on systems applied, the material approved at Electrical Test Stage to Final Inspection.
  • Transfer physically and on systems applied, the material rejected at Electrical Test Stage to Production.
  • Maintain good communication with the Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor and/or QC Final Inspector Technician to address on time any issues that arise during shift period.
  • Maintain informed Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor and/or QC Final Inspector Technician about any mistakes or not updated electrical test Work Centers on the Work Orders Travelers.
  • Participating to maintain order and discipline in the Quality Control Department.
  • Follow at all times the Employees Manual Polices.

Experience, education and skills :


  • Minimum 1 year of experience on cables assembly (in Electrical Test).
  • Use of PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Effective in working both independently and in team settings.
  • Flexible and adaptable to company’s changes and needs.
  • Achieve activities / responsibilities in time, with the highest quality and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and writing).
  • Able to interact with other people from other departments.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Organized and able to plan time effectively.
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and respectful, being a role model and achieving the respect of his/her colleagues.


Additional Requirements:


  • Being ITAR approved/authorized.

  • Customer approved inspector.
