Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as the Quality Control Area. The successful candidate will have desires to learn and experience in a quality control documental elaboration and submission position. This person will work closely within our quality team & internal customers. The incumbent will also gain experience in the following processes as well as concentrate on the main position.

Experience and Skills:

Major Responsibilities


  • Take the product photographs of workmanship after critical operations or any other operation (during production process), in accordance with customer’s requirements and specifications.
  • Ensure that 100% of photos generated are taken at the traveler photo and customer specified points, keeping record of all photos taken, per work order, product’s serial number and operation.
  • Must be able to keep strict control of photos taken, even with the challenge of high production.
  • Upload and rename all photos into defined electronic folders, according to current procedures.
  • Verify the quality of image according with the customer specifications and current procedures/instructions.
  • Maintain required photos back-ups to support any lost media.
  • Identify potential non-conformities, through a media review (a plus).
  • Maintain good communication with Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor and/or QC Final Inspector Technician to address on time any issues that arise during shift period.
  • Inform Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor and/or QC Final Inspector Technician about any mistake, potential non conformity or not updated media generation request in the operations of Travelers.
  • Participate in the maintenance and order in the Quality Control Department.
  • Perform any other special duties assigned by the Aerospace QA Engineer Supervisor.
  • Follow at all times the Employees Manual Polices.




Experience / Knowledge / Skills


  • Six months experience on cables assembly.
  • Certified on IPC 620 (a plus).
  • Certified on IPC J-STD-001 (a plus).
  • Use of PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows.
  • Effective in working both independently and in team settings.
  • Flexible and adaptable to company’s changes and needs.
  • Achieve activities / responsibilities in time, with the highest quality and efficiency.
  • Good communication (verbal mainly).
  • Able to interact with other people from other departments.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellently organized and able to plan time effectively.
  • Read and understand technical product drawings and specifications.
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and respectful, being a role model and achieving the respect of his/her colleagues.
  • Digital photography equipment management / experience (a plus).



Additional Requirements:

  • Being ITAR approved/authorized.
  • Customer approved inspector.

Education / Requirements:


  • High School completed.

Able to read/speak English (Spanish a plus)
